SSCC Website Featured on Tony Morgan’s Website
Saturday, July 26th, 2008In the realm of churches doing amazing things there’s NewSpring Church in Anderson, SC. Tony Morgan, their Chief Strategic Officer, interviewed Scott Magdalein regarding websites built to use Wordpress as a content management system.
It’s a really good article. In fact, a year and a half ago SSCC asked me (before I was on staff) to rebuild their website. We talked it over and they took my recommendation to let me build it with Wordpress on the back end. They loved the ease of use.
Fast forward to earlier this week when this interview was posted. Our church website was referred to as “one example off the top of my head” by Scott.
How’d he hear about us? How’d he even know I built it on top of Wordpress? Does this guy browse source code? (If he does, he gets points in my book)
Whatever the case, it’s an honor to be mentioned by the people you look up to in ministry.
