Happy Halloween and Props to Jay Sellers

Happy Halloween!

I’m looking forward to tonight. Amanda and I are joining the Lewis’, the Pauldings, and the Davidsons tonight to share a meal, hand out candy to kids, scare a few of them, and hopefully show the love of Christ with a few people. I don’t know what else will be served, but I hear rumors of Cyle’s chili and my wife’s creamy pumpkin pies. (BTW… I have the best wife in the world.)

If you missed Jeff Gill’s take on Halloween, read it before tonight. It will change your perspective of Halloween forever.

Jay Sellers at Elevate

Last night my good buddy Jay spoke at Elevate (young adult ministry). He did an outstanding job taking some difficult verses and putting them in perspective for us. Hopefully he’ll put the recording I made of it up on his website sometime soon. It’ll be worth a listen.

Good job, Jay.

If you have lived in south Georgia long enough, you’ve probably seen something like this. If not, Happy Halloween from Georgia!

    Happy Halloween!

Chris, how did your Halloween go? I’d love to hear about it.

  3. Chris Moncus Says:

It went well. We hung out with four other couples and all sat on the porch eating pumpkin pie, chatting, and giving candy to kids.

It was a great night to get together and have fun with friends. I’m so glad we did it.
